AC for the current month must be completed before requesting bonuses for that month. For new characters, AC must be submitted in lieu of the check in.

Each bonus is submitted as a bundle of three threads, which cannot be used for AC and must have a minimum of five comments from you. Threads have no expiration date and can be banked for the future, but each character is restricted to five bonuses each calendar month.

Bonuses must have an impact on the character, which can be as simple as a favorite food, or as poignant as a memento from a loved one. They cannot be a living creature. Bonuses can be common items (such as food, clothing, and tools) which are ICly requested by the character, or canon specific items (owned by the character) which are OOCly requested. Once general NPCs are unlocked, characters will ICly submit requests to the town head, who will work to acquire resources either from within the town or to be imported via train. Canon specific items will appear in a variety of ways.

[ Lark will seek Judai out wherever he is, asleep in the graveyard or wherever, and hand him an unmarked package wrapped in plain paper from an anonymous sender. Inside are two new Duel Disks, and a handwritten note in a language he cannot understand. ]

[ Asleep in the graveyard! He is (rudely) awaken when Lark comes to get him. He will wake up, but still lie on the bench like the lazy boy that he is. ]

Huh? For me?

[ In this place? ]

[ If this were any other npc, he would have placed the packages on Judai's face and left, but Lark unfortunately is a Good Boy and lingers by the foot of the bench, clearly anxious to return to his delivery route but will stay and talk because he doesn't know how to excuse himself. ]

You are Judai Yuki, yes?

[ Of course the answer is yes. It's Lark's job to know who is who, it's the one thing he doesn't doubt. ]

Yeah, but who's it from?

[ He's wary to take packages from who knows where, but Ala said that he should be nice to Lark, so he will be by taking the boxes from him. He will open it up shortly. ]

...The sender does not wish to reveal their identity.

[ yeah he's sus, but be nice to him anyways ]

[ He'll take the package back if you don't want it? here, give it back ]

No, I'll take them, but it's just weird.

[ He opens the first box and peers inside. Once he sees the item, he pulls it out with astonishment. ]

Whoa, a duel disk?! [ It looks brand new too! ] Seriously, who sent this?!

[ It's a rhetorical question he doesn't need to answer, but something tells him that Judai is the sort who would bug him until he gives some sort of clue about his mysterious benefactor ]

I have paper and pen... Would you like to write something in response?

Yeah, for sure!

[ He'll take them if he's offered. He'll scrawl something quickly, though... ]

... wait, will they even understand what I write? Their note is in some weird language.

[ Lark peers down at the note Judai had received, but no sense of understanding crosses his face. It's all the same to him: a bunch of gibberish. ]

It is a common written language... from what I have seen around town. [ He looks over at Judai's note now, with the same look of "ah, yes, those sure are words, I have no idea what the heck they mean" ]

Yours are familiar too.

So then can you write in that language?

[ If not, Judai will just write his note in Japanese because he has no idea what else to do. His note will be short. ]

No. ...That is not true. I can read and write many names.

[ But that's it, the bare minimum needed to deliver letters and packages around town, and most of the time he's given his assignment by mouth and doesn't require literacy for anything. ]

Huh. Okay, I guess I gotta write this myself.

[ He writes the note, which just consists of a simple thanks and asking how the sender got a hold of these. Once finished, he folds the sheet of paper in half and holds it out for Lark. ]

Here you go.

[ He nods and takes the letter, stowing it inside his mailbag. ]

I will see that it gets delivered.

[ Hope Judai isn't holding his breath for a reply back, though ]

Kuja loves this play, and his (sacrificed) sentimental item was actually a fake ticket to go see it. He's going to re-read it and lay down and have complicated emotions about it that he's never had before. since the last time he read it he learned his little brother/replacement was named after a character from this play...

Bonus request: A copy of this set of clothes, but in purple. It's one of the types of uniforms worn by Genomes. The skirt isn't actually see through that's just sketch lines.
Impact: Kuja wouldn't actually ever request this but he WILL wear it. Clothes designed specifically for Genomes are kind of, just more comfortable than ones that aren't? His wrecked canon outfit was even a heavily modified version of the (more masc) Genome uniform but. It's November, Kuja. You can be thong out when it's spring.

The book delivery he'll make shortly after his statue escapade, with the package of clothing delivered a couple of days after. As expected, they both come from an anonymous sender. ]

Before the 17th inspired him to a, uh, general change of pace, he'd kept a wide yet curious orbit around the man whenever he saw him, like a wolf stalking its prey side-long. But now Lark's come to him first, on a day he's plainly out of sorts. ]}

[ Lark's impressive arm strength is attributed to how many times he's had to hold a package out while waiting for people to snap out of their daydreams. Put it down where... His first instinct is to set it atop of Kuja's head so that he can use the opportunity to leave while Kuja reaches up for it, but looking at the other man, he decides against it and instead carefully sets it down on the ground next to him. ]

See, this is one of the costumes. It's a play-- rather, a stage show. Most of the words are telling the people performing in it what to say. You've attended one before, surely?
