Occupation: unofficial leader of The Nest

Gemstone: "a pure black gemstone, highly polished and slightly tapered towards one end not unlike an egg" (first mentioned here)
Description: Crow has sandy blond hair and dark brown eyes, and can typically be found at home or around the train station. Reportedly, he holds a lot of influence over the town, and is a good person to talk to when troubled. While many npcs have been losing memories, Crow reportedly has not. He is the one who gave named npcs their bird names, as well as the one who named the town The Nest.

Six silver coins are used as a passage fee and conduit for her to take a person across the water; according to Lark, those who leave with her never return.

She was married to Jay, the train conductor who was murdered early in the game, and has picked up enough from him to operate the train if we ever get it working again. While she has lost a considerable amount of her memories, she claims to be content living in the present. An unknown individual stole her uniform and faked her death via the train's furnace at the start of the game.

LARK

Description: Lark has ashy hair and golden eyes, and can typically be seen around town with his mail bag doing deliveries, or hanging out in the graveyard talking to the dead underground. As a postman, Lark prides himself in knowing people and places, but has trouble speaking and reportedly cannot read aside from names he's learned to recognize. It is not widely known, but Lark is able to speak with and, to a certain extent, control the dead.

Following the "sacrifice" of several characters, he awoke without any memories of his identity or past life, and was given the temporary name Hamtaro before learning his true name. His family is dead, and according to the note he had written on the back of a photograph discovered in a burning house, he had sworn to bring them back no matter what the cost. According to the townspeople npcs, according to Crow, a boy named Raven died in a house fire many years ago.

This is true, and you are certainly correct to point that out, but there is also ...
When we all first arrived here, we found a man dead on the train. Out of respect for him, he was buried in the ground, but in doing so the hounds were summoned and many people met their end as a result. This was the first "rule" we learned very harshly, that differed from the rules of where we are from. That is the sort of thing I'd rather learn so we may avoid.

They were less wild dogs and more vengeful dog-shaped spirits. Church grimm turned deadly, you could say, appearing with the toll of a bell.
If it is a coincidence, that would take a great deal of guilt off the shoulders of someone dear to me, however we were informed that was not the case, by someone who knows this land far better than we do.

For the exact wording, I'll have to ask Rinne-san and get back to you. I believe ...that it was Lark-san that told him this. Rinne-san has tried taking all the blame, as is his want. If this is really not the case ...it would take a desperate weight off of both him and his brother.
You can't trust everything everyone tells you, but I think in this case, after the attack, we all were in such a desperate, confused state, we had nothing else to go on but the word of the only person who had some idea of where we were. Sparrow-san, I cannot overstate how precious little we understood about our situation when we woke here. Even now, I believe that's hardly changed.
